Hi to al!

OK, I'm guilty of downloading a ton of music before I actually read all about iMesh. My bad and I'm embarrassed That being said, my question is this:

In looking at the songs I've downloaded, they all have Gold disks to the left of the song title. In looking at the various questions on this forum, since I don't have a paid subscription, I don't think I should have downloaded the ones with the Gold but rather I should have downloaded the songs with the Green disks (shared music). That being said, my question is this: What will happen to all the songs that I downloaded? Will they disappear in time? What happens now?

Please forgive my ignorance and I promise not to download anymore songs with Gold disks and will only look for Green

Not looking to redownloading 400+ songs

Thanks for any help and responses.

Dear iMesh user,

There are 4 track types in iMesh

1) Premium Tracks | Gold CD icon

Premium Tracks are all in WMA format and in 128 bitrate. Download as many as you wish, as long as you have an active monthly subscription. This is all the music that is included in your iMesh Premium subscription, and high-speed downloads are guaranteed!
If you will purchase the iMesh ToGo subscription, it will allow you to download your premium music to your portable device (Compatible with www.PlaysForSure.com portable devices).
Please note that premium tracks have licenses to protect them and therefore, in order for the tracks to acquire the licenses you must be connected to the internet. Unfortunately because of this, if the tracks haven't acquired the license and you have no internet connection, the music will not play.

2) Purchased Tracks | Boxed Gold CD icon

You can purchase Premium Tracks in MP3 format, in 320 bitrate, in order to burn them to a CD, or transfer them to an
MP3 player at your leisure*.
Buy any song (even songs that you have already downloaded using your subscription), by right-clicking on it and selecting the 'Buy Song' option from the menu.

3) Peer-2-Peer Unlicensed Media | Green CD icon

Free Peer-2-Peer downloads from other iMesh users. Downloading these does not require a monthly subscription, however please note that any copyrighted content is filtered out.
You can also burn this content or transfer it to an MP3 player freely.

4) YouTube music videos | Purple Video icon

Free streaming from YouTube. Streaming these videos does not require a monthly subscription.
You can add them to your library for easy re-access and add them to playlists.
Right click on a YouTube music video and purchase that song in an MP3 audio format in order to burn it to a CD, or transfer it to an
MP3 player at your leisure*.

* Burning Premium Tracks to CD, or transferring them to a NON-PlaysForSure compatible MP3 player, is only
possible after purchasing each track separately starting from 0.99¢ each, and is not included in the
monthly premium subscription charge.
